E-Shram Card Apply Online 2022 : The Government of India has started a new scheme named E-Shram Portal Scheme for the welfare of workers and laborers of the unorganized sector. E-Shram Portal has been launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of Labor and Employment of India has launched the e Shramik Portal to track and collect all the information and data about the laborers and workers in the unorganized sector.

The number of workers joining the E-Shram Portal has crossed 150 million! Till now about 15.31 crore workers have E-Shram Card. It has the most youth workers!

Ministry of Labor and Employment will provide Unique Identification Number (UAN) card to those who have applied for Shram Portal. Candidates who want to apply for e-shram card online registration can apply for CSC Seva Kendra. Candidates can also do self-registration on E Shram Card by using mobile number linked with Aadhar card.

• Go to the official website of E-Shram Portal https://www.eshram.gov.in/.
• Then on the homepage, link on “Registration on e-Shram”.
• Click on https://register.eshram.gov.in /#/user/self.
• On self-registration, the user has to enter his/her Aadhar link mobile number.
• Enter the captcha and select whether they are a member of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). OR Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Option and Click on Send OTP.
• After that enter bank account details etc. to complete the registration process. And follow the process further.
• After that you have to upload the required documents. And finally submit your form online by clicking on the submit button.

• Applicant must be a resident of India.
• You must be 16 to 59 years old to get an E-Shram Card.
• Labor does not pay income tax.
• Applicant should not be a member of EPF and ESIC.
• Work in the unorganized sector.

E-Shram Card Apply Online 2022 : What are the benefits of making E-Shram Card?

The benefit of the government scheme is given according to the eligibility. 2 lakh rupees are given to e-shram card holders in case of accidental death. For partial disability, assistance of more than Rs 1 lakh will be given. Accident insurance coverage will be available after e-shram portal registration. In future, children of laborers will also be given scholarship so that they can do well in their studies.

The laborers who have registered under the labor card, if they do not have their own house, then the government will give it. Will also provide house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In the coming time, the government will also give loans to such laborers at cheap interest rates to start their employment. So that she can stand on her own feet. All these facilities are being provided by the government to the workers.
